Liberty is delighted to announce TWO foundations \u2014 Kenny\u2019s Dream and Transmission\u00a0\u2014\u00a0 will receive the proceeds from this year’s LSDC fundraisers (the \u201cPro $1 Dance\u201d and \u201cA Better You Tune-Ups\u201d sessions, plus the dance party cover charge for walk-ins). \nOur mission is to bring some light into people\u2019s lives affected with Tourette Syndrome. TS is a neurological disorder that causes involuntary movements and sounds. It can be very difficult both physically and emotionally. Our goal is to provide scholarships and camp tuition to children and adults with TS, while promoting awareness and acceptance. This charity will provide direct assistance to those overcoming the hardships that have been created by TS and will help them achieve their goals.\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

\nFiscally sponsored by Positive Images, Transmission is a retreat for adult (18+) trans masculine and gender diverse people to explore our identities and connect with community in a safer environment. Most of our retreats are held in the beautiful woods of Northern California and many past attendees describe Transmission as a transformative and spiritual experience. For many of us, it is the only time when we are around so many other trans people and we're finally free of intense social pressure to be our assigned gender at birth. There is no obligation to fulfill any gender norms; you are worthy of celebration just as you are.\n
